Sweet Briar Farms – LocalHarvest

After the daily dose of swine-flu on the news and having seen pix of the horrors of US hog-farming – and how it’s being encouraged around the world! – this farm is a delight. I’ve got some friends in that area so I’d love it if they could tell me if the place really is like it shows on the web site. The bacon & pork sound good – and I’m used to woodland-grown pork from a mile awy *g*. How is it in the US? can you get decent food, organic, properly cared for etc fairly easily or does it depend where you live?
